Why small batch, really
Mass-run gloves are built to a cost. Padding gets pressed thinner at the edges, seams get machine-rushed, and quality control becomes statistical — a sample from the line, not every piece. At 48 per run, every glove passes through the same two pairs of hands before it's boxed.
The parts you can't see
Competition-grade padding is layered, not injected — three densities pressed in sequence so the glove breaks in instead of breaking down. The lace channels are reinforced twice. The thumb is anchored with a lock-stitch that takes four times longer than the standard pass.
